I am very pleased to be the 8th Grade homeroom teacher as well as the middle school literature and history teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic School.  This is my 5th year at HTCS.

I attended Catholic elementary school in the Bay Area and then attended a Jesuit High School in San Francisco where I played basketball, football, and baseball.  I then attended the University of Arizona in Tucson where I received my B.A. in Elementary Education and also received a teaching credential from the state of Arizona.  After college I moved back to the Bay Area and lived in San Francisco.  While there, I taught at a Catholic Elementary School called All Souls School in South San Francisco.  I was the 7th grade homeroom teacher and, throughout my five years at the school, I taught science to the junior high (5th-8th grade) as well as Literature, Religion, and English at different points throughout the years.  I also coached football at my high school alma mater for three years. This will be the 2nd year at Holy Trinity that I will be teaching history.  I am also a basketball coach and NJHS advisor for the school.

My hobbies are anything music or sports related.  I love all types of music from pop to rap to country.  I am teaching myself the piano and have been trained as a singer in my early years.  I also love playing and watching sports.  I am actively playing basketball and football and anything else that keeps me active.  I also love watching all sports, especially my home teams (SF Giants, SF 49ers, Golden State Warriors, and Arizona Wildcats (college).  I use my interests in my teaching a lot.  I want the students to see me as someone who was just like them when I was their age and my story might be easy to relate to. During the summers, I am the Assistant Director at a summer camp called Camp Konocti in northern California.
