Holy Trinity Catholic School - Recipient of an IBM Technology Grant 2009

Our technology curriculum provides project-based learning that is
exciting and fun and relevant to our students' daily lives.  It also
promotes communication and collaboration as students work in teams to
complete the instructional units. This approach utilizes the strengths
of each team member to accomplish the goals of each project, while
offering students learning challenges at all ability levels. 

ALL classes learn the following at the beginning of the school year:

Fourth Grade

• Reinforce typing and formatting documents in Microsoft Word
• Research for information the Internet
• Create PowerPoint presentation. 

Fifth Grade

• Reinforce typing and formatting documents in Microsoft Word,
• Reinforce PowerPoint presentation skills
• Digital imaging
• Introduction to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

Sixth Grade

• Reinforce Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills
• Microsoft Publisher
• Search engines 

Seventh Grade

• Database (Microsoft Access)
• Create digital story using more advanced software and resources 

Eighth Grade

• Movie making & animations
• Web Design (HTML)
