Holy Trinity Catholic School
Fast Facts 

Mission: To provide each student the highest quality Catholic education through a well balanced curriculum, emphasizing mind, body, and spirit. 

Curriculum: Curriculum meets Texas Catholic Conference Education Department standards as outlined by the Diocese of Dallas. Subjects include Religion, Language Arts. Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Music, Art, Computer, Physical Education, Spanish, Speech (8th Grade), and ISEE Training (8th Grade). 

Technology: Students attend Computer classes in a fully equipped Computer Lab and view classroom lessons on United Streaming. Every classroom is equipped with a teaching laptop, Smartboard airliner, and InFocus projector. Early childhood students learn skills on IBM Young Explorer computer stations.  Students also have use of the computer lab and media room in the Community Life Center. Parents access grades, announcements, and homework information on RenWeb and the school website. 

Fast Facts:

  • Holy Trinity Catholic School is the oldest Catholic elementary school in the Diocese of Dallas, founded in 1914
  • Holy Trinity was the first elementary school in the Diocese to be accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency
  • Enrollment for 2009-2010 is 198 students in grades PreKinder through 8th  Grade
  • Average class size is 20 students
  • Staff includes 18 teachers and aides, clinic manager, library coordinator,  and administration
  • 94 percent of HTCS 8th graders progress to area Catholic high schools
  • Several 7th graders are annually recognized by the Duke University Talent Identification Program
  • Girls and boys varsity basketball teams are recent Division III champions
  • The School Robotics team has placed in the top three schools in the Diocese and qualified for State finals in Austin
  • Students prepare and attend weekly Mass or prayer services 

Services: Student services include an Extended Day program until 6:00 PM, Summer Programs including a summer camp and tutorials, and a Language Therapist (reading specialist).
