Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Holy Trinity Catholic School! We are pleased that you are
considering enrolling your child in our school. This letter explains some of the
procedures for enrolling a child in our school.

Enrollment is determined according to the following priorities:
a.)    siblings of currently enrolled students
b.)    baptized, Catholic children whose parents are presently registered in Holy Trinity parish
c.)    baptized, Catholic children whose parents are not members of Holy Trinity parish
d.)   children whose parents are members of other faiths

Prior to enrollment, students are required to provide a copy of the most recent Report Card and the results of the most recent Standardized Achievement Test. Student applying for grades K-8 must complete an Admissions Assessment.

Students in Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade must meet the age requirements for the State of Texas and the Diocese of Dallas:
  • A child must be 3 years old on or before September 1st to be admitted to Pre-School.
  • A child must be 4 years old on or before September 1st to be admitted to Pre-Kindergarten.
  • A child must be 5 years old on or before September 1st to be admitted to Kindergarten.
  • A child must be 6 years old on or before September 1st to be admitted to First Grade.

A student is not considered enrolled until the school receives all of the following:
·         The Registration Form - completely and carefully filled out
·         The non-refundable Registration Fee
·         The Birth Certificate and the Baptismal certificates (for Catholics)
·         A copy of the child’s Immunization Record
·         A completed Admissions Assessment

New students transferring into our Middle School (Grades 6 – 8) will need to schedule an interview with the Principal to discuss their prior school experiences and the requirements of our program.

An Extended Day program provides care after school until 6:00 p.m. There is a separate charge for this service.

Once again, thank you for your interest in Holy Trinity Catholic School. We hope this information is helpful to you in making a decision regarding your child’s future. If you have specific questions, please do not hesitate to call the School Office, 214-526-5113.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Hawkins
Principal
