Holy Trinity Catholic School Advisory Council
Parents at Holy Trinity have many ways of getting involved inthe school and parish community. Two organizations targeted specifically at the parents of school children are the School Advisory Council and the Parent Teacher Oganization (PTO).
The School Advisory Council is made up of parent and parish volunteers. The purpose of the organization is to make recommendations to the Pastor and Principal on policies concerning the school. To learn more about this organization, please contact the chair for the 2009-2010 school year, Paula Day at paula.day@sbcglobal.net
The purpose of the PTO is to build a link between the school families and the teachers and school staff. The PTO is responsible for the annual school fundraising events and the community building events such as the annual Fall Festival. The PTO organizes other events throughout the year that provide opportunities for parents to participate in school activiities. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meetings and to serve in a volunteer capacity with the organization.
Meetings are at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Life Center. The PTO meeting schedule for the school year are:
- November 10, 2009
- February 9, 2010
- March 9, 2010
- April 22, 2010
To contact the PTO officers, please call the school at 214-526-5113.
There are many other ways to contribute your time such as through service as a room parent, coach/assistant coach, scout leader, and much more.
We appreciate the hard work of all our parent volunteers!
